Our Story

Welcome to Montaj Hong Kong Tailor, where we bring over five decades of tailoring expertise to every garment we touch. Montaj was founded in 1970 by N.C. Jetto, a visionary tailor who set out to make people’s dreams a reality—and in doing so, realized his own dream. Starting as a traveling tailor, N.C. Jetto's journey led him to the Holiday House, where he initially planned to stay just a few days. But as he fondly recalled, "I got so busy I called my boss in Hong Kong and told him I'm staying." In 1992, Montaj moved to its current location, where his son Mo Chandiramani later took over, continuing the family legacy of dedicated, personalized service.

Today, owners Resshma and Mo Chandiramani carry on N.C. Jetto's commitment to fine craftsmanship, offering clients the highest quality custom suits, shirts, and expert alterations. With an impressive selection of 4,500 fabric swatches for custom suits and 3,000 for custom shirts, Montaj provides endless options to create garments as unique as you.
